Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki is supposedly going to confront the Iranians later this week with evidence of their meddling and "demand" a halt. Meanwhile on the home front the State Department is preparing to issue an ultimatum "that would tell the Iranians to knock it off - or else." Sounds strikingly similar to what happened leading up to the invasion of Iraq.
