john is funny but hes prety true about this. he did a good job
wins by TKO
This is like getting John Wayne Gacey or Jeffrey Dahmer or Mr. Fritzl on the show to sell his new book.
A completely pointless propaganda moment.

This book was written with the intention to evoke sympathy to our current federal administration. Everyone who has taken the time to educate themselves on every aspect of this war knows that it's inception wasn't the attack on 9/11, or any other trumped up acts of terrorism, it was a long calculated plan to take over the world. It's about money, power & servitude not about false accusations of supposed terrorism spued from our current president and it's administration. The very existence of this book makes me angry. I'm thinking to myself, "now, after everything has been in motion, the undeclared war is well into play, NOW someone decideds to give us both sides of the arguement?" Where was this unselfish act of heroism when I could have made an informed decision on whether to go to war with another country? I, like most of the american people, thought that my freedom was at risk. When, after the dust clears, the only thing that I have to fear, is my own government. LMW

exactly. right on.
> The very existence of this book makes me angry.
why? i think the fact that he has written this book is a good sign. the fact that he is appearing on the Daily Show to defend (note 'defend' not promote) is also a good sign.
think of it this way: nobody will run out and buy this man's book after seeing his performance here. people that watch the Daily Show are generally dissatisfied with the current state of things. the man knew that he was going to get slaughtered and have the arguments he tries to make get called into question and ridiculed.
he appearance on this show is a clear indication that he's been reduced to stooping so low to push for some sympathy and a change of heart of the people. if you agree with this analysis then it should reinforce the idea that the administration does care about public opinion and is bent on swaying it. clearly they're running out of steam, reduced now to making ridiculous arguments which in turn have the opposite effect. in a nut shell, this is a performance of a man with a shovel in a deep hole trying to get out but digging the wrong way. as Homer Simpson put it at one time: "dig up! stupid!". if you try to find something positive in a gloomy situation, you'll generally be successful.
strengths is that he remains so composed and lets these people make themselves look foolish. this man right here didn't answer a single question that was posed to him. vote the video up.
