Type of Content: Video Gardasil is an immunization against a "disease" that often has no symptoms and usually resolves itself. Marketers of the vaccine imply it helps prevent cervical cancer. This is scientifically false. Furthermore, cervical cancer is already substantially on the decline. What is true is that if you introduce Gardasil into a person who already has HPV you dramatically increase their odds of developing pre-cancerous cell behavior. So why are the marketers of this vaccine working with crooked politicians to make Gardasil injections mandatory for young girls? It's garbage science and bogus public health all in pursuit of the almighty dollar. UPDATE Since publishing this video in the winter of 2008, the predictable public health catastrophe has begun. Unnamed "federal health officials" reported to the New York Post recently that there have been over 8,000 "adverse events" - including death and paralysis - in girls and women injected with Gardasil. Let's get some things straight: 1. Gardisil is NOT a vaccine against cervical cancer even though it has been promoted that way by its makers 2. The vaccination series costs $360 3. Some politicians are seeking to make it mandatory for all girls between the ages of 10 and 15. Another pharmaceutical industry fraud Thanks to George Bush & Friends, victims of this "vaccine" will not be able to sue the manufacturer. Instead, they will have to apply to the federal government for relief which will involve a prolonged and expensive hearing process. Some of the injuries reported so far include: 1. A 17-year-old who collapsed and died two days after receiving the last of three injections. 2. An 11-year-old who suffered a heart attack three days after receiving the injection. The doctor attributed the death to a severe allergic reaction. 3. A 13-year-old who developed headaches, lethargy, and paralysis of her left leg days after a Gardasil shot. This Gardasil product is a move into a new demographic by the pharmaceutical companies. They need to keep growing volume and profits and the largely undiseased youth are target #1. They need to scare people who are perfectly healthy into taking expensive drugs. The massive commercial time spent scaring kids and their parents is appaling. And now they are lighting up news programs with the importance of putting 8 year olds on statin drugs. It is criminal in my mind.
The fact that a few people have gotten sick and died as a result of this is undeniable and inexcusable. All it would take is a US gov't with a conscience to put an end to it, but we all know that ain't likely. Your only defense is to to educate yourself and don't believe all the marketing hype. Our bodies are perfectly capable of staying healthy and healing themselves without toxic chemical "help." Mandated drug use and sales is wrong. Fortunately you do not have to give yourself or your children vaccines. It is just a bit of a hassle, but you can get away with it. I don't think you should have to explain yourself to the government for every choice you make regarding your health, but that's the way it is. For now the vaccine histories of our children are not very high tech, basically a handwritten record which is easily fudged. I'm sure we will see these histories standardized and nationally institutionalized by the US govt and big pharma to make it almost impossible to exist without the proper expenditures on possibly harmful or deadly drugs at a very young age. Babies are way to tender and sweet to be injecting crap into.
This is my personal opinion. I still have a right to that, I believe.

As the "Constant Gardener" presented, big pharma (I won't name names) used Africans as guinea pigs for clinical trials of Trovan, a very strong antibiotic which was eventually removed from the market by its maker. The world winked at the deaths in Africa caused by this drug. In one instance, it was the only thing that prevented a child in Louisiana from dying, though. It was very, very powerful. It is a shame that the potential of the drug was so tainted by the trials.
The vaccine should not be mandatory, nor should the government be allowed to prevent anyone from suing the company. It should remain available to whoever wants it, though. I think it is proven to be relatively safe and effective, but I haven't done much research. I would recommend that women and parents with daughters look at as much of the information as possible before making the decision whether or not to inoculate, and should pay more attention to scientific findings than to anecdotal evidence.

the entire article is based on these examples and yet they have not been backed up with anything.
they are fictitious claims.
do you not see a problem with this at all?
how do you chose which articles you trust and which you don't given the complete lack of sources?
The ones who are skeptical of the vaccine's safety or the ones who will be making money off of the sale, distribution and eventual side effects of it?

i asked for a source on these claims of deceased persons that were listed. this isn't a philosophical discussion on who has got what to gain. how are the claims in this article different from this one:
- a 24 year old man died today from drinking gatorade.
i suggest you start being sceptical of both sides as opposed to letting your passion and disgust blind you to obvious omissions and misinformation. it's not like the lawyers and the people suing over these claims of illnesses have anything to gain.

awesomo i don't think that it being dangerous is what the post is about, because your right it is a very small percentage. It has way more to do with the litigation. Making another vaccine mandatory and making it so you can't sue the company if there are any damages. This is greatly harming many people since the price for the vaccine is $360 and it is not actually needed so many insurance policies probably won't cover it.
but you see. if you package a legitimate concern with lies then you discredit the legitimate concern. so look for yourself on this thread and try to find where i made the slightest insinuation that i would in any way support mandatory vaccination.
people who lie and misinform in order to propel an idea, no matter how noble, lose credibility. as in, if you're lying to me now, how can i take your arguments, based on lies, seriously?
you see an article like that one posted here and you should ask yourself, does it really help your cause? the case against mandatory vaccination should be made with proper arguments. the fact that a vaccine is dangerous is not an argument for that. it is merely an argument against that particular vaccine. so in effect you're making the case that dangerous vaccines should not be mandatory, which leaves you with an implied conclusion that the rest of them, which are deemed safe, should be mandatory.
don't make allies out of disingenuous people because it works against you. misinformation is misinformation no matter what end it's being used to achieve. this article posted here is disingenuous because it misrepresents the facts. it uses fear to achieve its end as opposed to a logical argument. i think i have made a fairly good case for that.

I agree that the use of sources and full representation of the facts should be used. I don't believe fear tactics should be used to promote anything no matter how noble it may be. It just seemed to me that you were missing the little bit of useful information that was in the post.

well. that wasn't really the point.
the point was that that particular article makes claims without as much as hinting at a source.
this is not national news, it's not all over the internet, it's not common knowledge.
so you'd think that claiming something like that would warrant some backup information.
but i took your advice and i did some digging on my own to find out more about this drug.

- it is estimated that over 8 million US girls and women have received the drug in the past 2 years.
- Lawyers in the last month have filed the first two claims on behalf of girls with ailments blamed on Gardasil [...]
- Gardasil has a laundry list of reported "incidents" - 8,000 to date - which include nausea, vomiting, seizures, paralysis, autoimmune disorders and 18 deaths which are under investigation due to the timing between the receipt of the vaccine and the young women's death.
so we're looking at 8000/8000000 reported cases of adverse reactions including death. that's 0.1% to date. i suspect that most of these ailments are nausea and vomiting which is nothing that you can't get from a shady diner.
what kind of bull is this? such claims made, not one single source. how is this not a work of fiction?
