We threw a Guy Fawkes Day Party last year where we DIDN'T burn Guy, instead we brought the efigy ales and sausages.
Great time.
Somehow I think next year's 5th of November is going to be bigger; even considering the Money Bomb (thanks Trevor).

At this very moment (as cued by reading the article) I'm doing some lab work (PCRs, Exo-SAPs, other genomics stuff) and playing the playlist that we put together for that very party. It starts off with Politician, Street Fighting Man, and Uncle John's Band; then comes The 1812 Overature, Revolution, Come Together, Subtereanean Homesick Blues, and contines to get better and better for a couple hours. Ends with some very appropriate Pixies, Nirvana, and Weezer.
