o called "national unity" in the North did not exist during the Civil War. In fact there were massive draft riots in New York in 1863 and approximately 200,000 men deserted the Union Army. Among many other tyrannical acts by the Lincoln regime, the most appalling include killing some 50,000 Southern civilians, repealing habeas corpus, and banning freedom of speech in the North.
