I'm so sick of seeing our military being represented by guys like Myers, Petraeus, Mullen, and all the other "I'll lick your ass if you just give me a promotion" type of guys.

The military is supposed to defend the principles in our Constitution. When their loyalty shifts from principles, to simply whatever their commander demands, in my mind, they are no better than the loyal soldiers who followed Hitler.

Jesse's the kind of soldier who never forgets about principle. And like a fellow soldier named Washington - who served a couple centuries before him - he knows that sometimes your own government is the very enemy you must defeat.

I could give a flyin' f*** about whatever George Bush decrees. But I'd follow General Ventura anywhere.
