Germany of the 1930's. Perhaps a little earlier, because in our scenario now, the Communists (Democrats) are going to come to power. They will probably destroy the currency even faster, and then the Fascists (Republicans) could be swept in with a much larger majority. That is just what happened in Germany. This is really, really scary.

Looks like a great movie. I'll pass out the link to the local RP meetup. f.y.i. some meetups are still alive and kicking. I've tried to turn the "Spartan" theme around a bit. Of course some have tried to capitalize on the most recent movie to whip up some "anti-Persian" (Iran) sentiment. But you can actually do a lot with this movie as it pertains to politics.

But as a lifelong Republican I've become sort of a peacenick. I'm more into the "truth to power" thing now. Whistleblowers, investigative reporters, activists, ect... (and videos) OH YEAH!!!
