Public Education Activism

Type of Content: Video While a friend of mine was sending out applications to go to Graduate school she spent a couple months substitute teaching. Her bachelor concentration wasn't education and found it was still fairly simple. Now I know the permanent teacher leaves busy work for their students to do in lieu of their presence but if you could convince the students to quickly finish that work you could attempt to teach students some liberty minded topics. We always complain how the Public Education system misrepresents historical topics (ie The Real Lincoln, or the banking reasons behind the American Revolution) and how students can graduate high school and college without an idea of how the banking and Fiat money system actually works but we never actually do anything about it. Why don't some of us become substitute teachers? Now you wouldn't actually need any teaching experience there are plenty of videos online which you could show (like the one linked to at the bottom of this post or some of the other ones at Mises). I think some of us could make some news in our respective communities but remember the truth is your ultimate defense. Consequently, I'd advise staying away from conspiracy theories, not that some of them don't have merit, but we want to spread facts and the true American history not ideology or theories.
