If you want to know what Friedman and the Chicago School of Economics is really about, read "The Shock Doctrine, the Rise of Disaster Capitalism" by Naomi Klein. You will see that he is purely driven by greed and has done nothing but redistribute wealth from the poor to the rich. in my opinion he is completely evil.
He turned Donahue's oh so liberal questions so quickly, and in so few words, that most of us could learn lessons at his skill, and he answered them in terms that both Donahue and his audience could understand, and that Donahue could not answer. I'd love to see pretty much anything by Friedman, particularly his series "Free to Choose'. It was very effective at converting people when it played, and boy is it ever about time to play it again, Sam!
Good but very short. Donahue has good questions that Friedman only briefly addresses. Is there more to this discussion?
God Bless Milton Friedman. A Taormina I haven't been able to find the rest of this clip, but this clip I watch all the time because Milton does such a good job and gives very powerful responses.
I love the end, "Where are you going to find these angels to organize society for you?" So awesome.
