If you are not familiar with John Williams work and that of his Shadow Government Statistics this article is a great introduction. The article, written on April 8th 2008 for his subscribers, was made free to view on May 8th.

In this piece, John Williams presents us with a picture of the financial Armageddon we are fast approaching. The article is peppered with numerous examples, clearly illustrated by charts, of the lies and deceit fed to the American people by the government. For example, Williams work shows that American real average weekly earnings have declined by about 2/3 over the past 30 years while official statistics show a drop of less than 10 percent.

Williams indicates that we face nothing but total societal upheaval with the likelihood of a third political party moving either the Republicans or Democrats to third party status by the mid-term elections in 2010 or Presidential election in 2012.

Food for thought for all Ron Paul supporters and especially those who continue the fight within the Republican party.
