I can't see that this helps anything. Quite the opposite, it's most likely that the sheeple will complain about someone famous and rich trying to abuse the system, especially when Snipes himself admits he was wrong.

"I am very sorry for my mistakes and errors," Snipes told the judge. "This will never happen again."

It just makes his attempt to claim the illegality of the IRS look like a tenuous attempt to avoid jail rather than a stand for justice for the people.
