Dear coronzon,

It is with a heavy heart that I must report some very sad news.

Pete Nosan our RESTORE THE REPUBLIC California Coordinator took his own life on October 10th.

Pete was a rising star in the organization and someone I considered a good friend. He managed many groups on our website and just started taking a national leadership role in organizing the End the Fed! November 22nd street actions. He rarely missed our Monday night Leadership calls and had recently started a leadership group for group leaders on RestoreTheRepublic.net.

His friend Shannon reflected, "He had a great personality, was charismatic and well liked. Pete was a natural leader and had a faithful following of his organization, Restore the Republic ~ Riverside. His group has suffered a great loss as well as Restore The Republic and especially his family. As the California Coordinator, Pete orchestrated all the groups in our state and appointed me as the Long Beach coordinator..."

A fellow activist and friend of Pete's, "freedommv1", stated in the details of a memorial youtube video, "Pete had been active in the freedom movement and was a staunch advocate for tax honesty, constitutional government and 9/11 truth. He had not filed for several years and the IRS was now coming after him... they demanded $15,000 and had come to his work last week and garnished his wages."

Our Boston End the Fed organizer, "Lefick", noticed comments on Pete's profile and contacted me Sunday afternoon as I was leaving the 2008 American Liberty Counsel. After calling Pete's cell phone and only getting his voice mail, his mother called me back and confirmed what I did not want to hear.

Freedommv1 also noted, "Pete had attended our June meeting in Riverside where we showed Loose Change 2nd edition. Since he was from Riverside, he had helped to get the word out and had pretty much filled the room."

Pete was also an instrumental force on the April 15th Global Strike and Operation Stop Thief awareness campaigns that took place at post offices across the nation this year. Single handed, he organized 5 post offices.

A great void has been left in Pete's absence his leadership, spirit, and friendship will be greatly missed.

We will be "passing the hat" at: http://rtrmoneybomb.chipin.com/nosan-fund to raise $1500 to help Pete's mother cover the funeral costs. If you feel inclined to help please chip in. We will send the check to her once the funds are collected.

If you prefer to send a check directly to Pete's mother please make out the check and send it to:

Pete's profile has become a memorial. Don't hesitate to stop by his profile and leave a message for Pete... it is still active and being managed by his friend James F.

Are you sure it's a suicide?

Are you sure it's a suicide? The people he's trying to bring down are corrupt and evil. I'm sure they'd do anything to silence him. Just a thought.

Gosh this is sad

This makes me despise the IRS that much more. His service wont be forgotten. My sincere thoughts go out to his family and all his friends such as yourself.
