County officials in Indiana are preparing to stuff their hands into the pockets of hard-working taxpayers even deeper than they already are. They are shamefully threatening to cut police and public safety jobs from their payrolls in light of property tax cap legislation signed earlier this year and using that as an excuse to implement local option income taxes.
