Judge Andrew Napolitano

I only recently became aware of who Judge Napolitano is. He seems very charismatic and trustworthy. He seems to believe and back up all of Ron Paul's beliefs while bringing a lot of charisma to the microphone. Could he be a good presidential candidate in 4 years? Has a judge ever run for president and been viable? Is anyone aware of any reasons why he shouldn't run? Could Napolitano be to Ron Paul what Reagan was to Goldwater?

"It does not take a majority to prevail, but rather an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brush fires of freedom in the minds of men." -- Samuel Adams

Napolitano in 2012? Yes!

I really like the idea of seeing Judge Napolitano run in '12.... so much so, that I'm amazed the thought never crossed my mind before this. He would certainly be the perfect "Ron Paul candidate."

Napolitano has an incredible grasp of Constitutional law. After all, he taught Constitutional law at Seton Hall for 11 years. He has, so far as I can tell, a solidly libertarian view of politics and government. He has written a couple of books taking the Bush administration to task for usurping the U.S. Constitution, a document Napolitano clearly holds dear.

He spent eight years on the bench of Superior Court in New Jersey, so he's obviously a man who can, and has, made tough decisions under pressure.

Best of all, Napolitano is quick witted, charismatic, and has a decent sense of humor. He is also quite articulate and telegenic and is very comfortable around cameras and the media, thus making him a perfect fit for a modern Presidential candidate.

He's also not afraid to speak the truth at times when it would be much easier just to "go along to get along." I've seen him absolutely dismantle arguments made on Fox by Hannity, O'Reilly and other talking heads who clearly have no idea what the Constitution allows and what it does not.

It's too bad that we can't "draft" the man for '08 - I would vote for him faster than anyone else on the ballot right now, but it's really too late for the current election. That being said, I would throw every ounce of energy I could muster into a campaign to put the man into office in 2012.

Anyone else?

The most respected Faux News correspondent.

I wonder why? This is a real patriot and he's so respected that fox news has him on, that say's alot about experienced patriots taking true character and saying it like it is

That's another powerful and

That's another powerful and frightening video. If we could just get the American people to listen to it maybe we could change things. Hmmm unfortunately we don't have Aaron Russo anymore, but if someone like him could turn this into a movie that illustrates the dangers of such freedom robbing laws, that might be something the American people would watch.
