It should probably be mentioned that the vote was for sending the articles of impeachment to the judiciary committee, which, according to this article at least, was done so the House wouldn't actually have to debate the issue. The judiciary committee "is expected to let [the articles] die without further action".
It would be nice if 251 Congressmen seriously wanted to impeach the president, but unfortunately they're just engaging in the usual politics.
This president led us to war against a country that did nothing to us, and he did it using deception and misinformation. The war has cost the lives of 4000 American soldiers, many thousands of innocent Iraq civilians and over 1/2 trillion dollars. He should be held accountable for it. Impeachment would also serve as a good lesson for future presidents. We should impeach them routinely for the slightest violations of the constitution or for lying or deceiving us. Presidents should be held to the highest standards. And when they don't measure up we should throw them out.
It's great that Kucinich has the courage to stand up and do this but remember that vote was to send it to committee. If anything is to happen with it everyone needs to lean on all of the member of this committee. http://judiciary.house.gov/Committeemembership.aspx

As I understand it, to impeach requires similar action from at least ONE senator, too, otherwise it means nothing.
I would HOPE Sen. Bernie Sanders could be "the one" who could bring these charges on the Senate side of Congress.
