Type of Content: Article Did you know that Myspace Is Owned by Rupert Murdoch and News Corporation? FOX NEWS OWNS MYSPACE. This isn't fresh "news"-- they've owned it for awhile. But thinking about it today was enough to make me go in there and close my long dormant account. I wouldn't want those people counting me among their members.

Dear Rick, we have had some personal correspondence about the myspace issue, including this piece of a letter you sent me
"Interesting issue as to whether using myspace (owned by Murdoch) for our own purposes is good for the freedom movement. Two weeks ago, I might have said yes-- it was the best (only?) tool available-- so use what can be used. Today (not surprisingly) I say anyone and everyone who wants freedom should leave myspace immediately and join with us here at BTM. We need to build our own community, and stand apart from theirs. I'm not an unbiased observer on this point (obviously), but I'm highly confident I'm right. Building our own community is infinitely more powerful and significant than anything myspace might appear to offer. R"
Now I find that on the home page of BTW you have a Myspace link to BTW's myspace page, now I am confused, this seems against what you said, it seems that it must be a marketing, which still seems against your principle of not supporting Mr. Murdock.
I again think we need to be shouting truth from every hill and mountain (in the internet world and Terra firma ) and standing up where ever we can, and as I said before Mr. Murdock makes no money from me.
I can understand wanting to market your site on Myspace (if Myspace was a country it would be the 10th largest if I remember right). I also have done what I can also to spread the word of your site there. (to a large activist and Ron Paul crowd).
Some of my most popular posts here- have come directly from that activist crowd.
But it seems to me you can't have it both ways, and be in integrity.
building communities of those paying attention and doing something about our current deplorable state as a nation and as a world can not be contained to one web site.
what gives?
and ..... It was that same activist crowd on myspace that sent me here in the first place, I just sent out the message to my collection of friends there - some 530 plus- to come on over, with luck that message could go to a number of 1000's, truth be told, we need the truth to be told everywhere and any how
keep up the good work Rick and maybe reconsider the wheres and hows of your message,
peace
well hell, that is pretty old news in the activist crowd on myspace.
Kind of funny that myspace for me is one of the best places for me to find my alternative news.
Besides all of the fluff and the nasty ownership there are thousands of "truther" on the space, getting the word out and because it is so large, it seems that the chances of opening the minds of those not as awake to the current world situation, are quite possible.
it is odd,
