Type of Content: Article MySpace strategically deleted my other profile "millionvetmarch" of 14,000 friends’ right before the Revolution March to hamper my efforts in getting the word out and passing along information about how well the March showing did turn out. ________________________________________ Dear MySpace, I’m still unable to log into my account. This kind of action and response was very common last fall, winter and spring before they added the apps and tightened their 'security'. There was a LOT of phishing and hacking of profiles during that time. I have lots of friends that had the same thing happen and I also had reason to email myspace and got the same type of auto responses from them and not in a timely manner either, usually 2 weeks. By the time a live body responded, if they did, it was over a month and the issue was moot by then. Most folks I know on there now have a back up acct and also keep their codes in a word doc so they can rebuild quickly, but yes its hard to get the friends back quickly. And it does seem to happen mostly to political and pagan oriented folks. I also give my off-site email to those friends I dont want to lose contact with so if that happens I will have some connection still.
