Lyrics

This is my daughter, this is the face of the next generation
She will be left to pay all of the debts of this once great nation
She won't have everything I had and more
The money's been spent on bailouts, graft and war

Oh the crises are coming at a frightening speed
The dollar's collapsing and the banks all need
Another five trillion to balance their books on the back
Of the next generation

This is my daughter, born in the land of the free
She'll never know the way this country was meant to be
One place in the world where your life belonged to you
Not a king, not a pope, not the state did you need kneel down to

Oh the crises are coming at a frightening speed
The dollar's collapsing and the banks all need
Another five trillion to balance their books on the back
Of the next generation

Our country's dying from this fascist cancer
More regulation is their only answer
But freedom from Washington's the only chance for the next generation

The constitution was the one thing due me
McCain and Obama are you listening to me
A slave of the state is the way you view me
And the next generation

This is my daughter, this is the face of the next generation

I don't think we can

I don't think we can determinate the face of the next generation only by looking at a youtube video with a perfectly normal kid. The character of a person is different from one person to another, as I have been taught at Baton Rouge auto glass company. Maybe you should read more about children state of mind.

To NathanScott -- So, how

To NathanScott -- So, how many did you order on the heels of word that Obama is pushing Bush to extend a bailout to the Big 3 in Motown?!? Oh yeah, there's that whole pesky "Stimulus" package that he fully supportscar accident claims You are going to make this T-Shirt creator a rich man!

What an amazing post...

It's very amazing, as you go more into the details and watch out the movie. You will feel you are lacking knowledge. And should try to upgrade your knowledge.

Imploding

Will the empire implode some more billion dollar office buildings,
and erect some more two billion dollar office buildings ?

Is that why we are alive ?

Beautiful production

Beautiful music and images. There is frustration expressed. What can we DO?

"Always vote for principle, though you may vote alone; and you may cherish the sweetest reflection that your vote is never lost.--John Quincy Adams"

As president of the United States, Mr. Adams benefited quite handsomely from people voting. As for principle, have you ever thought through just what voting is?

It is nothing less than the participation in a system through which one person obtains the literal power to command, through force, their fellows to his or her own will.

Read that sentence again and let me know in what way is that scenario compatible with the idea of liberty. You know, personal freedom and like that.

The principle that "all men are created equal". But some are more equal than others?

What is your principle?

www.tolfa.us

Obedience to God and State is subjugation to men.

Just reading the lyrics brought me to tears,

the economy may be bad, but that can be worked around with wisdom, the tyranny that is likely to come is far scarier to me.

Always vote for principle, though you may vote alone; and you may cherish the sweetest reflection that your vote is never lost.--John Quincy Adams

Starring: OUR Claire

That's right, freedom lovers. Claire Morrissey, Producer and Star of Next Generation, is our very own Claire who's been posting so eloquently here at Breakthematrix over the past several months. Also starring in Next Generation: Claire's daughter Lianna as the young girl. And of course our Breakthematrix Creative Director Keith Baxter wrote and composed the music and lyrics and plays lead guitar on the final version. Giant shoutout to these talented people-- a terrific piece of art.

To Tom Mullen, Awesomo5000 and Claire's other protagonists in the forums (including me), all I can say is that our arguments might well be as persuasive now as they've been in the past-- but I'm not sure anyone's going to be listening to us much anymore when Claire's around. I want Claire's autograph. R

Thanks, Rick.

We made this on a tiny budget (no money for professional actors, which is why I volunteered), but we had some top people who donated a lot of time and equipment because they all believe in the message of the song. Here are the others who worked on it, who deserve at least as much credit as I do.

Director and editor:
Michelle Lynskey, a brilliant gal and a great director.

Director of Photography:
Jeff Fry. He is an amazing visual artist. He can make a rainy day look bright and sunny, moonlight, whatever. We couldn't have done this without him.

Additional DoP:
Patrice Cochet. A wonderful DoP with a great vision. A perfectionist who puts his all into every shot.

Sound editor:
Kevin Crehan, one of the top music editors in L.A. He did an amazing job for us. Unfortunately in the download to Youtube something went wrong with the sound synchronization. It was perfect in the master.
