Take a stand with us as we deliver "Bailout Blowback" to our elected officials who supported this legislation.

Together we'll educate voters about what the bailouts really mean. We'll go door to door, run television and radio ads, hold marches and protests, and make the news.

What an incredible opportunity the bankers and congress have given to us... the outrage of We, the People! Join us, come together with us as a community of Americans demanding accountability, and redirect that impotent outrage into something positive for America. Let's Break the Bailout!

The fight over immunity for

The fight over immunity for telecom companies in domestic-spying legislation is creating an unexpected side effect: unity among liberal bloggers and Ron Paul supporters. Federal Resume.

We believe that is armed

We believe that is armed robbery and and act of war. How will we bridge that without them giving up the core of what makes them "liberals?" Professional Resume.

I don't think we can truly "break the bailout." It's happened- what we can do is spread truth and let people know what's up. Things like this and "End the Fed" are needed- otherwise those Americans who are asleep will never awaken.

Another great idea, like the Fed's term, but I do not think it's going nowhere. We lost the momentum and national unity. One of my congressmen, Saxby Chambliss voted for the rescue and is now trapped in a second round to his seat in Congress. Of course, your opponent is a tax imposed Democrat, so that even if he loses his seat Chambliss people still are not winning.downloading music mp3

Banks

We used to think that Banks are full of money and gold, but after billions in bailout money given to them, I think these guys are up to something. The average amount of bank charges, for late fees, overdrafts, ATM fees, and the like, is going up. It is a bit abrupt that we, the customers as well as the taxpayers, just gave them more installments loans from our taxes. I don’t think they really helping us when in fact this is the time they must be are umbrella in “rainy days”. It seems like they had better put that bailout money to use so that those of us who paid the taxes to bail them out don't have to get installment loans for charges for using the services of these banks. Now tell me do you still trust banks? So I agree on this article, we should take our chances to protest and deliver "Bailout Blowback" to our elected officials who supported this legislation. Because in the end we are the one who will be truly benefited by this protest.

And the Money Bomb for the "Break The Bailout" Goes to...

Hey! This needs to be addressed! I love the spirit and the idea. Graphics are great, too. But for the sake of "transparency", Lucy, you got some splaining to do! So spill it.

Me? My plans for Nov 22nd while most people will be marching legally like nice citizens, probably being totally ignored by the media, because they won't be disrupting traffic or rioting and destroying things like the highly effective Prop 8 Protestors...well, I'm going to take a coffee meeting with my representative Xavier Becerra, who mysteriously voted "no" on the Bailout BOTH times, and speak with him in person about co-sponsoring the HR 2755 Bill itself. That is the bill to End The Fed, by the way. You can read the Bill and familiarize yourself with it here: http://www.opencongress.org/bill/110-h2755/text

How did I get a face-to-face meeting set up with this guy? He actually sent me, along with everyone else who signed up, a nice e-mail saying we could meet with him for a coffee, tell him what's on our minds etc. I'm sure he is not the only congresscritter to offer this to people. Why don't we ALL do this? Then maybe it won' be so darn easy for them all to keep ignoring us!

Personal experience has shown me that a little "Face time" can be very effective. And if YOUR Representative doesn't not offer this, then why don't you write him yourself? Then follow up and call him (or her)!

As just one example, right

As just one example, right now the fed is refusing to give a public accounting of the trillions in recent taxpayer backed loans. Just look at the 700 billion in TARP funds that congress appropriated and the Fed refused to talk about -- we now know a portion of it ended up going to bonuses for the AIG execs.

These are all just technical

These are all just technical or usability issues. However, I think the largest problem on BTM is one of direction. There's no clearly defined objective when you go to the site. Unless you are familiar with BTM's back-story, a new user would barely be able to understand what was happening. It is a social network? A forum? a video sharing site. Thanks for sharing.

Personally...

"A wise and frugal government, which shall leave men free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor and bread it has earned - this is the sum of good government."

Another good idea

Another great idea, just like End the Fed, but I don't feel it is going to go anywhere. We have lost momentum and national unity. One of my congressmen, Saxby Chambliss voted for the bailout and now he is caught up in a run-off for his seat in congress. Of course his opponent is a tax upon tax Democrat, so even if Chambliss loses his seat the people are still not winners.
