An Embarrassment

"...the forces of Rep. Ron Paul have been organizing across the country to stage an embarrassing public revolt against Sen. John McCain when Republicans gather for their national convention in Minnesota at the beginning of September."

If most Republicans don't already find their party to be an embarrassment, then they have lost contact with reality.

secret revolt? As in

secret revolt? As in exercising their right to participate in the election? Showing up is a revolt in the eyes of sheep?

I don't get it.

True, but . . .

Anyone planning a ruckus at the R's convention is appreciated, but is a drop in the proverbial bucket. Neocons and other interventionists will not turn into Paulites because of a speech, or a vote. They will turn into peaceful free traders when they see US living better enviable lives. COMPETE with the monster who would tell you the evils of competition, be the change you want to see offline.

The revolution is happening in "Green Dragon" coffeeshops, pubs, gyms, farmer's markets etc.

Individuals are circumventing bureaucratic, interventionist BS TODAY; get out there and support them.

And join them.

Buy bread from bakers, beer from brewers, trade for everything you can, grow some untaxed calories, harvest some untaxed energy from the sun/wind, find/exploit/ advertise legal loopholes in regulations and taxation, leave your Ron Paul signs up, go out of your way to trade with people whom left their Ron Paul signs up, run for local office to show OURs is the superior ideology at all levels, read Thoreau, read Rand, read Orwell, read PAUL(!), sign and date your books and pass them along, read von Mises start a business and experience soul-crushing bureaucracy firsthand, pay off your debts, pay off your debts, be an optrimist, invest in optimists, learn about the non-aggresion principle, change your definition of money from fiat currency to the price paid for your efforts by the efforts of everyone else on Earth, and most importantly; add to this list.

The revolutin will not be defined by the BS political landscape of distraction and diversion from truth; it is better than all of that and will be defined by millions of peacemongering free-market capitalists using the products of their own labor and ingenuity to transform their individual lives, therby showing the better path for millions, and billions, more.

Liberty can overflow your life as a free person, just as it used to overflow the borders of a free USA.

Okay, I took offense to the

Okay, I took offense to the part that says we are all so eager to "follow our leader's words" that we made the Revolution book a bestseller. Not that I wasn't personally eager to read the book, but the fact that Ron Paul's words are merely the words of the Founding Fathers, spoken in modern times. We should be following those words, it's KIND OF THE WHOLE POINT OF AMERICA.
