Type of Content: Article That's right, Ron Paul is running for (Vice) President! But only in Virginia, unfortunately. The Independent Green Party of Virginia has collected 70,000 signatures to help put a Bloomberg/Paul ticket on the Presidential ballot here in Virginia. Both Michael Bloomberg (New York mayor) and Ron Paul appear willing to stay on the ballot - in Virginia all that is needed is for both candidates to abstain from requests to be taken off. Read »

but why Bloomberg?!?! Nooo!
Any positive news is good news. The more we can keep our man, Dr. Paul, in front of people, the better.
Thanks for the great article too! I can't wait for Minneapolis!

Gives me pause to consider that this sort of Bloomberg association would go far to discredit the "Campaign for Freedom" movement. Perhaps a closer look at the Green Party of Virginia's leadership and agenda may be in order?
Since Virginia proved that you just need enough signatures to put someone on a ballot, why haven't we done it for Ron Paul? (It's the Republican thing, isn't it?)
Be unreasonable
OK according to http://blogs.tnr.com/tnr/blogs/the_stump/archive/2008/08/19/virginia-is-... this was done by the "happy hillbillies"
I guess that pretty much says it all.
"Weirdest election-related twist in a slow, pre-convention week: New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg may be on the ballot as a presidential candidate ... in Virginia ... with Ron Paul as his running mate ... nominated by a party that describes its members as "happy hillbillies""
Who in the world came up with a Bloomberg/Paul ticket? That would be like a Joseph Stalin / Thomas Jefferson ticket. That's only good for someone who doesn't know if they want dictatorship and totalitarianism or freedom and democracy. Goofy!
Dr. Paul could no good in a Bloomberg administration. He was the guy in NY who passed the legislation which made it illegal to video tape in NY.
I pray this ticket carries 25% or more. Now that would be a real win!
