Turns out that's not true. A

Turns out that's not true.
A little bit of false information going around.
Turns out that Inhof was actually doing all he could to get our votes cast.

I like your Youtube page

I thought I did mention that James Inhofe tried to get the vote changed....guess I was too brief.

Watch out--

I would watch out using www.batesline.com. During the primaries and state conventions, he was our number one adversary (spreading false lies and nasty articles about the Ron Paul supporters in OK). So, just take it with a grain of salt. I do, however, have the link that goes straight to the NewsOK page here: http://newsok.com/article/3292929

Also, here is the follow-up of that article from my local RP meet-up leader:

"Of course, those of us who were in the vicinity of this celebration of tyranny expected nothing less. Why leave time for real business when you can waste it all on tedious bloviating? As a bonus, you can ignore any protests of the steamrolling that is performed in the name of expedience.

The lame excuse offered by the RNC also demonstrates the neocons' love of the particular form of democracy they have tasked their mostly unwilling subjects with spreading around the world: democracy where the rulers no longer have to worry about counting the votes like "Uncle Joe" Stalin did, since they also control the choices.

This is shameful for Oklahoma, since our own crook-in-chief Gary Jones failed to make a statement for our delegation's rights to have their votes counted, even after a sitting U.S. Senator's pleas were ignored.

Gary. Jones had enough foresight to consult top RNC lawyers in advance of the 3rd District convention, in order to ensure that the scheme the Oklahoma GOP had cooked up to control the delegate choices at that convention would not be derailed by pleas from the floor. It is not unexpected that such intrepid foresight would not go towards ensuring that the procedure at the national convention, attended at great expense for those not bankrolled by the political machine, did not disenfranchise the delegates pledged to Ron Paul.

Gary Jones must take us for fools, to think that he would stand by in the moment while the pro-human-life, America-first, local-control, individualist wing of the Oklahoma GOP has its voice silenced by the power elite, and that we would furthermore continue to give money to the vile organization that he in part commands.

One suggestion would be to take a bar of lead, paint it with gold enamel, and drop it in the mail attached to the postage-paid envelopes that the RNC and Oklahoma GOP furnished us with last week. This organization deserves to have its coffers deflated while it is rebuilt upon the principles in the Declaration of Independence, replacing the principles of privilege, power, greed, and plunder that dominate today's GOP. Like all government entities, without access to money, a minority cannot scheme to control, silence, and disenfranchise the rest of the people, those that are inclined to do good and to tell the truth -- that is, those who are not politicians.

Remember this next year when you are asked to once again trust those in power and re-elect them to various party positions."

I'm sorry to hear that about batesline

That's why I posted two links.

Ouu Rah, Miss Green!

As usual, you cut right to the heart of it. Any time "conflicting accounts" of an issue arise and emanate from "established sources," one can be sure there is something significant to hide.

Happily from among our members we have those who possess the ability to discern fact from fiction, frustrating the attempts of those who employ obfuscation.
