you can't waist a vote

I think there are a Lott more people out there with like views than we think. People have got to the point that they think there is nothing they can do. If we could just convince them to vote their conscience and not who the main stream media says can win. The only waisted vote is one not cast with your believes.

Take back the Press is step 1

While I do not attempt to profess to know all the answers, but I can tell number one on the list to take back the press.

When I "debate" folks in the local paper's blog (opinion) forum, it seems to always be the same ole arguments back that sound like the answers they heard on Cable news the last night or the week before. I swear you would think the boobtube was a mind control box.

I'm try'n with posting articles in the local paper forums, getting in local meetup groups, and visiting as many websites as one can take and report back to the sheeple.

It's a start,

I don't know

I know that there are people out there who have this feeling in the back of their head that something isn't quite right about what's going on with the government but they don't know what. I know it wasn't until I watched Naomi Wolf talk about her book End of America that I started really "connecting the dots".

I think there's also the all too persistent belief that it just can't happen here because we're the greatest democracy in the world. I would argue that' it's precisely for that reason we should remain forever watchful for our destruction. I don’t think it’s as much ignorance as complacency that we’re dealing with. Both are extremely dangerous when it comes to politics and the problem is for too long we’ve allowed both to grow like a dangerous cancer in our society.

Ok How do we make that happen?

The biggest problem I see is that the American people don't give a rat's butt about the constitution. Half of the people just want government to give them free stuff. The other half wants our military to beat the hell out of someone. It doesn't matter who or why, just so long as we are beating the tar out of somebody.

How do we get the people to understand the importance of the constitution? That's the challenge.
